1. Grant of License
HairStorm is licensed, not sold. Subject to your purchase of an active license tier (Free Trial, Personal, Professional, or Studio) and compliance with these terms, HairStorm grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install, activate, and use the software on your designated workstation.
2. Plan Tiers & Machine Activation Limits
Each commercial license authorizes activation on one (1) physical workstation at a time via cryptographic hardware fingerprint binding. You may transfer your license to a new workstation by releasing or deactivating your active seat through the HairStorm Customer Portal.
- Free Trial: 7-day non-commercial evaluation on 1 machine with 2K bake limit.
- Personal: 1 workstation yearly license for individual creators and personal projects.
- Professional: 1 workstation yearly license with commercial production rights and full 3D grooming tools.
- Studio: 1 workstation yearly license with priority support for commercial production pipelines.
3. Commercial Use & Ownership of Output Assets
You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all hair meshes, textures, grooms, 3D
models, and project files (.hairstorm) created using HairStorm. Assets exported
under active Professional or Studio licenses may be freely incorporated into commercial
video games, films, animations, and virtual productions without royalties.
4. Restrictions & Anti-Tamper
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of HairStorm; (b) modify, bypass, or defeat the license validation, cryptographic signature verification, or anti-tamper subsystems; (c) redistribute, rent, lease, or resell license keys; or (d) use automated bots or key generators.
5. Updates & Support
Active yearly licenses include all feature updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements released for your plan tier during the active license term. Support is provided according to your plan tier via email and the online support portal.
6. Termination
This agreement remains effective until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term herein, or upon a completed refund or payment chargeback. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
HairStorm is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall HairStorm or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
